A scarce and collectible early printing of Tartt's debut novel.Clear acetate jacket is moderately scuffed and cloudy, especially around the edges. A large slice is present on the front of the dust jacket with a scratch on the pictorial board beneath. The bottom right corner of the dust jacket has a missing piece. Board corners are bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Some liquid damage and mild soiling to outer edges of text block. Front free endpaper creased with small tears at the bottom edge. No writing inside.
